"Mary also serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce." I think this tells us something about Mary. Not only is the Chamber anti-union, but out here in Somerville we had to fight them for almost two years to get a living wage ordinance passed.
Why would an organization devoted (supposedly) to social service hire a director whose allegiance is to the business "community"? Who were the people responsible?
